Tile Warehouse Sale Terms & Conditions

• Usual terms apply as well as the following.
• Sale includes in stock products only.
• Discounts are for Tile Warehouse imported products only.
• Discounts to not apply to indent orders.
• Discount is not refundable for cash.
• Discount is on full retail priced products only.
• items purchased on discount are to be delivered or collected within two weeks of purchase.
• Available for a limited time and whilst stocks last.

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act we are only required to accept returns if the goods are faulty, wrongly described or not suitable for the purpose for which they were sold.

However as a courtesy to our customers we may accept returns / refunds on unused goods with the following conditions:

• All returns are subject to prior approval.
• Returns must be made within 30 days of invoice date.
• Returns, if accepted, must be for 4 or more full, unopened boxes, in resellable condition and a single currently stocked shade.
• Moving tiles is expensive - a 25% restocking fee or the handling & distribution costs to re-centralise the stock (whichever is the greater) applies.
• Proof of purchase must accompany all returns.
• Measurements taken off plans by Tile Warehouse are estimates only. We always recommend a site measure performed by a professional tiler before ordering.
• We cannot accept returns for indented (special ordered) items, sale or clearance lines, damaged or partly opened boxes.
• All returns will be processed at the original purchase price or the current selling price whichever is lower, in the form on store/account credit.

Freight/Delivery

• Freight if payable on all deliverys.
• Please check goods on receipt and if any damage is found please advise Tile Warehouse within 24 hours of delivery as neither the carrier of ourselves can accept subsequent claims.
• All responsibility for damage after goods collection or signing of the delivery docket transfers to the Purchaser.
• We strive to meet the required delivery dates but where not met we will not be responsible for any loss, damage or consequentila loss arising from any delay.

Shading/Batch Variation

• Please check the tile or stone colour, size & texture prior to installtion. There may be a slight variation between the sample and the delivered goods due to the tile manufacturing process. Variations to not indicate a defect.

Quantities

• When ordering ensure you include a percentage for cutting/waste (we generally recommend 10-15% of the area to be tiled.)
• Should you require more tiles at a later date, we will endeavour to obtain the same batch. However, this is not always possible so it is recommended you order a sufficient quanitiy to tile your project.
• All orders will be calculated to the nearest full box.

Terms of payment

EX Stock: (Cash Sale Transactions)

• Payment is required in full before delivery.
• To secure an order, a 60% deposit is required.
• Payment in full is required before delivery of product and within 30 days of order date.
• The Deposit is refundable if the order is cancelled within 7 days of the order date.
• Stock cannot be reserved for more than 7 days without a 60% deposit.

Indent Orders: (Cash Sale Transactions)

• To secure an order a 100% non-refundable deposit is required.
• The balance is to be paid within 7 days of the goods arriving into our store.
• indent orders must be delivered within 30 days of goods arrival.

Installation

• Please ensure the tiles you select have the correct technical charateristics including the PEI rating for the area being laid.
• Goods must be installed in accordance with best tiling practive, Manufacturer's directions, guidelines & New Zealand bulding standards. We take no responsivility for product failure caused by non-observance of any such directions and standards.
• Please be aware that tile installation and laying constitutes aesthetic acceptance of the goods. Any claims once the tiles are fixed cannot be accepted.
